Agl’s “Jansewak”
is a true enterprise solution that integrates functions across an
organization and enables effective E-governance. It coordinates with the
existing systems, processes, flows, financials, document management
techniques, cashiering, field data collection etc.
The main aim of this computerization project is to
automate and standardize the operations of Zonal offices, Offices of the
various Heads of Departments, Different administrative sections etc. which
come under the Gwalior Municipal Corporation. We have established their
connectivity with the Head Office as well as with each other using the
latest state-of-the-art Microwave Wireless Radio Networking System.
Agl’s “Jansewak” integrates with the
existing systems, financials, documenting, cashiering, field data
collection etc. and establishes their internal connectivity by employing
hi-tech Microwave Wireless Radio Networking system to make the
organization a seamless functioning entity. The software has got an
exhaustive number of modules, which take care of each and every operation
of Municipal Corporation.
Computerization
of the GMC
As recognition to our efforts and quality of work, Agl
Technologies Ltd. has been awarded the project for computerization of the
Gwalior Municipal Corporation. This project is being implemented on BOOT
basis and Agl Technologies Ltd. has been entrusted with the task of
computerizing operations of Gwalior Municipal Corporation across all its
departments and functioning areas.
The Company started this project work from 1st
week of August 2004. We plan to implement this solution by the end of
March 2005 at all the designated locations. The progress of the project
has been widely acknowledged by the Municipal Corporation and Offices. The
Company wishes to acquire related projects at other stations soon. The
work has already been rated as a pioneering one, and is getting accolades
from all over, be it the ministries, concerned offices, or departments.
Equipment
Agl Technologies Ltd. has implemented this project on
BOOT (Build-Operate-Own-Transfer) basis. We have installed our own
equipment and other related peripherals for the project. These include
high-end servers, computer systems, printers, power back up devices, data
back up media, scanners, barcode setup, latest Microwave Wireless Network
Setup, etc.
Software Package
The massive software package required for the project
has been developed completely in-house at Agl within a record time.We have
employed Total Systems Approach, which include defining, designing,
installing, training and on-going technical support.
Agl’s “Jansewak” takes care of each and every operation of
the Gwalior Municipal Corporation with help of its exhaustive list of
software packages, comprising of different modules.
